Asakusa Hanayashiki has a long history since 1853. At first garden designer Rokusaburou Morita started a flower garden mainly featured peony and chrysanthemum handiwork, and nemed the park “Hanayashiki”. In the Meji era, this park enjoyed a good reputation by exhibiting rare birds and fierce animals, western puppet photos, and a varied tit taught tricks. Although once closed because of earthquake disaster and war turmoil, it was rebuilt after the war. The roller coaster they made in 1953 is the oldest coaster that has been in Japan. This attraction still attracts people.

Currently Hanayashiki has many attractions classified into several themes: fantasy & fairy, speed & thrill, mysterious & panic. They has as much as 19 types of attraction such as “Carnival” which makes you feel heavy centrifugal force,“Haunted House” which has unique planning and representation. “Disc O” which rotates and makes you feel dizzy, and a standard merry-go-round.
